From the Appalachian Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Erica Leigh has laid her roots in Nashville Tennessee. By way of winning a singing competition at the Wyoming County Fair, Erica made her way to Nashville after performing as the opening act for Country Star Lorrie Morgan. With a professional freshman project, "Love Is”, under her belt, Erica is moving in new directions. Her songwriting credits with producer Mark Oliverius led to a connection with publisher Rex Benson out of Los Angeles. Erica has pitched her song, “Bigger Better Love,” to major artists with the help of Rex Benson. Since moving to town, Erica was asked to take part in ASCAP’s Country Songwriting Workshop by ASCAP Rep, Mike Sistad. Sistad introduced Erica to hit songwriter Bonnie Baker, who mentored this workshop and has been an inspiration to Erica.

Erica performed at the Bluebird Café, shortly after arriving in Nashville. She has been focused on writing but continues to share her love of dance within her community. She has choreographed a few musicals in Nashville including “ Little Shop of Horrors” for Brentwood High School and “Cinderella" for Centennial High School. She has also appeared in music
videos including “Blue Collar” for country artist Coy Taylor, who recently completed a radio tour and is signed with Average Joe’s Entertainment.

Erica Leigh and Coy Taylor have teamed up to perform at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds on June 16, 2012, where Erica got her start, to benefit the NEPA Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Erica lost her sister, Tammi, to leukemia in 1990. Just a short year later, her other sister, Melissa, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Melissa has beaten her cancer and has been a survivor for twenty-one years. Erica and Coy hope that through their music, they can raise awareness and support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Most recently, Erica assisted celebrity stylist Katie Mirian at the“Better Be Big” video shoot for country artist and hit songwriter, Deborah Allen.
